Being born in a traditional Rajput Family is not an ideal setting for a successful story of musical success. But Megha Dalton overcame every obstacle to carve a niche for herself. Her Mother (Smt.Pramila Devi) was the inspiration for learning music as she was very good in Folk Singing. She started learning music at the age of 13 from Ustad Amjad Ali. PRABHAKAR in Hindustani classical (Vocal) from Prayag Sangeet Sameeti, Allahabad, she also attained Bachelor of music from Banaras Hindu university (Faculty of performing art) 2004.
